Registry Integrity Policy
This policy is versioned and may be updated. The certificate ladder announced separately is a standing programme promise; this policy governs how the registry protects the integrity of its records.
1. What the registry records
The Private Song Registry records dated facts: the date a song was registered, its on-air history at AI Radio Malaysia, the results of automated scans (including the Music Catalog Check (Global) and audio fingerprint), and the creator’s own declarations as made at registration. Every fact on a certificate is frozen at the moment the certificate is issued, and every certificate carries a live verification page showing its current status.
2. What a certificate is — and is not
A certificate is a dated registry record. It is not proof of authorship or ownership, a copyright registration, or legal clearance. A registration date shows when this registry first recorded a song. Content claims on a certificate — including how a song was made and any statement about its vocal — are the creator’s declarations, recorded and dated by the registry.
This is a private registry operated by AI TV GLOBAL — not a governmental or collecting-society record.
3. Claiming a certificate
- Claiming a free earned certificate is always free. The registry never asks for any payment inside a claim.
- Claim links are personal and sent only to the creator’s registered email address.
- Every claim is confirmed with a one-time code sent to the creator’s registered email address. Whoever completes that code acts as the creator.
- Real registry emails always address you by your registered creator name and name your song.
Changing your email address: your registered email address is your identity in the registry. A change is handled by the registry by hand. The request must come from the email address currently on record, and a notice is sent to that old email address once the change is made.
4. Issuing a certificate
- A song qualifies for a certificate while it is on air at AI Radio Malaysia. The certificate is issued the moment the creator confirms the claim, and its verification page goes live at once.
- The registry may decline any registration, free or paid. Every certificate, free or paid, is issued only once the registry’s scan has passed, and any result that raises a question holds it for review first. If that happens, the money is refunded โ minus Stripe’s processing fee, because Stripe keeps that fee (see the Registry Terms). Payment alone never issues a certificate: a paid certificate is issued only once the registry’s scan has passed, and any result that raises a question holds it for review first.
5. Scans and review
Every submission to AI Radio Malaysia is checked on arrival: an audio fingerprint is taken and the audio is checked against songs already in the station’s records. The catalog check against commercially released music is run before a certificate is issued, where no earlier result is on record. Any scan result that raises a question routes the claim to human review before any certificate is issued — this protects the value of every certificate already in the registry.
6. Disputes
Anyone who believes a registered song or certificate misrepresents their work may dispute it. A dispute must include: who you are, the specific certificate or song, what you claim, and at least one checkable piece of evidence (for example, an earlier dated release or recording).
Disputes with evidence freeze the certificate while the registry reviews; disputes without evidence are acknowledged and logged, and the certificate remains live. Write to support@airadio.my with the subject line “Registry dispute”.
7. Revocation
A certificate found to misrepresent its facts is revoked. Its verification page immediately shows REVOKED with one of a fixed set of neutral reasons (“following a dispute”, “under registry policy”, “at the creator’s request”). A printed certificate is only ever as good as its live verification page — always check the live record.
8. Changes
This policy may be revised; each revision carries a new version number and date. The certificate ladder announced by AI Radio Malaysia only ever loosens in the creator’s favour — it is never tightened.
