Song Certificate
Your AI song exists. Nothing official says so — until someone copies it.
A Song Certificate is a dated record that this song, under this name, existed and was scanned on the recorded dates. Every certificate has its own live verification page at airadio.my/cert that anyone can open in seconds.
1. Where AI songs stand in 2026
- In Malaysia, the collecting society has barred fully and partly AI-generated works from registration, royalty collection and distribution. Under current copyright law only a natural person is an author.
- The country’s premier chart show and awards require that same registration, so AI songs are locked out of them without any announcement ever being made.
- Official charts abroad have excluded wholly AI-made songs. Their rule is enforced by self-declaration and disputes, where the artist is asked for dated evidence.
- Streaming platforms now tag AI tracks by the tens of thousands a day, and mandatory AI-content labels are under consideration here.
The net result: an AI song has no official home for its record. When it is copied, re-uploaded under another name, or disputed, there is no dated paper trail on your side — unless you made one first.
2. Why a dated record is worth having
- Copies happen. A song re-uploaded under someone else’s name is settled by who holds the earlier dated record. A record cannot be backdated; the earlier one is the stronger one.
- Platforms ask for evidence. Takedowns, ownership claims and dispute forms all ask the same question: show something dated. A verification link answers it in one click.
- Declarations are now the rule. Charts, platforms and labels increasingly ask how a song was made. Your declaration, recorded and dated at registration, is already on file.
- The link is the proof. A certificate image can be copied. Its verification page cannot — it is served live by the registry and shows the record’s current status, including any revocation.
3. What the certificate records
What it is not: a certificate is not proof of authorship, not a copyright registration, and not legal clearance. It is a dated record held by a private registry. The weight of that record is decided by whoever receives it — and a dated record beats no record.

4. How to get one
Get on air
Submit your song to AI Radio Malaysia. Songs that pass review go on air, and every AI song creator with 5 songs on air is invited to claim 1 certificate, free.
Register directly
For any AI song, on air or not. The song is scanned, its record is issued, and its verification page goes live.
Refund? You get back what you paid minus Stripe’s processing fee โ Stripe keeps that fee. Details in the Registry Terms.
5. The registry today
Every certificate is issued under the registry’s published terms and integrity policy, and any record can be disputed with evidence. Revoked certificates say so on their own page, immediately.
